Bubbles

Sorry for the sideways video but it was just too cute to not share.

Breakfast on the Pier

Gene and JC let me sleep in by taking their breakfast out to the pier to eat. It was a little chilly but JC didn't mind bundling up to eat his banana and watch the birds and waves.

Cooking up a storm

JC enjoys sitting on the island cooking his pretend meal while Gene and I do the real cooking. This way he gets to watch what we are doing and pretend at the sametime. Might not be the safest place to put my child but it has made meal preparing much easier and fun too.

Trick or Treat

Mommy had to help JC collect his candy

Checking out the other Trick or Treaters.

JC riding in style

Doning the "monster mash" with the radio.

After being a little weirded out by all the people JC really got the hang of putting candy into his basket. He even tried to give some back to our neighbors- what can I say our little man likes to share...most of the time. JC really enjoyed having other kids come to our house so he could see what they were wearing and hand them a candy bar. After all that trick or treating JC still had the energy to dance to the music and do the "monster mash". Happy Halloween!

Bubbles with Great Grandpa

Hanging with Sean

Hotel Bed

JC loved the king size hotel bed with the soft white conforter. He bounced and rolled and took advantage of every inch. He even enjoyed his afternoon snack while sitting in the middle of the bed. I would say his first hotel experience was a good one.

Happy 85th Birthday Grandpa

All dressed up

Mom would be proud

Conducting "Happy Birthday"

Well we all got together in Okachobee, FL to celebrate Grandpa's 85th birthday. He cried, he laugh, but most of all he was touched that so many of his family would come to celebrate him.

High School Football

I was reminded this weekend why I loved and hate high school. Friday night at the football game with friends and cheerleaders. Really even today the only cheerleader I ever liked was my mother. We got to spend Friday night of our trip watch JC's Godfather and my cousin Sean play football. John Carroll slaughter the other team and it was great. Sean is number 56.

Florida

This past week we headed to Port St. Lucie and Okachobee once again for a busy weekend of family time. JC highly enjoyed Uncle Phil's chili and playing with Grandpa, something he just doesn't get enough of already.

"Yankee Born...Southern Living" Christine: Born and raised in Naugatuck, CT. I moved to SC to be closer to my dad when he retired. I am a graduate of Southern Connecticut with a degree in Liberal Studies. I currently work for Merrill Lynch and Old Navy but being a mom is the best job I have ever had. Gene currently works at Osprey Marina and loves spending his days outside with boats. He is also training to be a volunteer fireman. JC: Is the perfect toddler...or atleast he is in my eyes. He is still on a schedule that you can tell time by. He love country music, dancing to whatever beat he can find, helping with chores, and reading.
