Brushing his Teeth...I mean Gums

So we decided to see what JC thought of his tooth paste and tooth brush and get him used to doing it at night. Not really sure what he thought about it but at least we got some pictures.

Keeping the holiday going

OK so I am a little late this year. Yes I mailed out our Christmas letter once again but I must be honest and say that between a new baby, 2 jobs, and the military I just took a little longer than usual this year. I know Barbara would be ashamed that they weren't out the day after Christmas but hey I have yet to become as good as my mother at many things what can I say. So I decided that I would keep the holiday going a little longer and get my letter to everyone probably around New Years so be patient and enjoy our blog.

Christmas Day

All of JC's gifts under the tree. I think he did pretty well this year.

Grandpa got JC his first fishing pole and tackle box.

We got Dad this cool picture of our last name "Mihalik"

JC got Uncle RJ a frame saying "World's Greatest Uncle"

Just playing with some new toys.

Here is South Carolina it was so nice not having snow on the ground we relaxed outside after dinner.

Oh the day is over! Can't wait for next year.

Christmas Morning

Santa believes we should all have healthy teeth. Here is JC with his first tooth brush.

JC's gift to Daddy. I got Rachel Ray's Big Orange Cook Book.

Yet another Mihalik tradition...Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast. JC likes this sweet tradition.

JC had to test all gifts to make sure they were good.

Wonder who got Gene this great gift?

Minnie really liked her gifts too!

JC got his first note from Santa.

JC really enjoyed looking at all the gifts under the tree or maybe it was the lights.

Merry Christmas

Well Santa was very good to all of us this year. JC certainly got spoiled by Grandpa and Uncle RJ and I got everything I could ask for, well except my stocking full of $100 bills but I'll keep asking for that. We hope that all of you were blessed this holiday season to get everything you asked for.
In true Mihalik tradition we took pictures with our stocking and got to open our gifts from our Godparents.

JC got a cool outfit from his Godfather, Sean. I think he liked it.

Opening his gift from his Godmother, Aunt Amy

Playing with his Horton Hears a Who puppet.

Playing with his new toy from Miss Jen and Mr. Joe

Fake sleeping

JC has started sucking his arm to get himself to sleep. Gene and I have labeled this fake sleeping.

All by himself

JC has been working on perfecting his sitting. Now when he falls over it's all good cause he has on his trusty helmet.

Put me in Coach

JC is sporting his new helmet with pride. Personally he looks so cute in it. We go for a follow up in about a week to make sure there is no irritation but otherwise everything looks good.

JC's First Christmas Gift

Thanks Grandpa B and Grandma Mary for JC's first Christmas gift. He loved chewing on his cup and can't wait to figure out how to use the straw. We love that it has his name on it. Thank you so very much for the thoughful gift.

What happens when Mommy is Away

Gene made sure that while I was away for a week there were many pictures taken so I wouldn't miss a moment. I didn't want anyone else to miss a moment either so here is what JC did while I was away:

1. Another head scan
2. Liver Bacon and Onions at Grandpa's house
3. Got his first gift from Santa
4. Sat on a fire truck
5. Christmas shopped for mommy
6. Had Uncle RJ babysit
7. Had a beer on the boat
8. Found his feet
9. Had a freckle appear
