Trick or Treat

Mommy had to help JC collect his candy

Checking out the other Trick or Treaters.

JC riding in style

Doning the "monster mash" with the radio.

After being a little weirded out by all the people JC really got the hang of putting candy into his basket. He even tried to give some back to our neighbors- what can I say our little man likes to share...most of the time. JC really enjoyed having other kids come to our house so he could see what they were wearing and hand them a candy bar. After all that trick or treating JC still had the energy to dance to the music and do the "monster mash". Happy Halloween!

Bubbles with Great Grandpa

Hanging with Sean

Hotel Bed

JC loved the king size hotel bed with the soft white conforter. He bounced and rolled and took advantage of every inch. He even enjoyed his afternoon snack while sitting in the middle of the bed. I would say his first hotel experience was a good one.

Happy 85th Birthday Grandpa

Mom would be proud

Conducting "Happy Birthday"

Well we all got together in Okachobee, FL to celebrate Grandpa's 85th birthday. He cried, he laugh, but most of all he was touched that so many of his family would come to celebrate him.

High School Football

I was reminded this weekend why I loved and hate high school. Friday night at the football game with friends and cheerleaders. Really even today the only cheerleader I ever liked was my mother. We got to spend Friday night of our trip watch JC's Godfather and my cousin Sean play football. John Carroll slaughter the other team and it was great. Sean is number 56.

Florida

This past week we headed to Port St. Lucie and Okachobee once again for a busy weekend of family time. JC highly enjoyed Uncle Phil's chili and playing with Grandpa, something he just doesn't get enough of already.

State Fair

Was it worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to watch JC pet a cow and sheep...absolutley. Sure we would have prefered a warmer day but you can't attend fair in 90 degree weather- it's just not fall. So we bundled into our coats and walked the SC State Fair. It really was a good time.

Painting with Pudding

You mean I can eat this too. Yummy!

Good use of color

What do you get when you add food coloring to vanilla pudding...edible finger paints and a ton of messy fun. What can I say but I am a creatively cool mom. JC really got into his finger painting and loved that he was allowed to eat it as he went along.

I only left you alone for a minute...

I am not sure exactly what happened here. I left JC coloring and asked Gene to watch him so I could go to the bathroom. I came out to my child painted and ready for Hallowen. Thankfully it was washable marker- Crayola Rocks!
