Trip to the Emergency Room

Playing with the balloon hand Daddy made him. Lost his shirt after he got sick for the 2nd time in the waiting room.

Just got his IV in. It was so hard to watch him scream while they put it in and drew blood from his little arm.

All better and up eatting Cheerios.

JC was a little out of sorts this morning. He didn't want to get out of bed and he didn't want to eat. He was so cute and cuddly but it was so scary at the sametime. So we used our parenting instincts and made a trip to the hospital where we spent most of our Sunday. Come to find out he was just a little dehydrated so they gave JC and IV for 200cc of fluid, ran some blood work and in a few hours we had our baby boy back wanting to eat and run around. Still alittle tired from the day he is napping now but here are some pictures from our experience.

South Carolina Children's Museum

JC checking out the animals
JC loved the guinea pig name Captain Jack.

Sitting in the large school bus.

Playing on the boat and life raft.

JC discovered toy trains today. First at story time this morning at Barnes and Noble and then again at the Children's Museum. He loved how they stuck together with the magnets.

JC took a ride on the hover round...um he did not like it. There was crying after this picture when the chair lifted off the ground a little and there was a vacuum sound.

Driving the Volkswagon Beetle

Puzzel time.
JC and I had a great time today. The only thing missing was Daddy cause he had to work.

Silly PIctures

Trying to call Grandpa on his cell phone

He really does have some big blue eyes.

Playing with Minnie

Once again we are in the ball pit. Love this thing!

OK so as parents it's important to have fun with your kids even if that means you make them look stupid by putting foam shapes on their head.

Myrtle Waves

Under the water fall

Watch out for the alligator!

Rapid River

Well we actually made it to the wave park a few weekends ago but we have been so busy since I yet to get our pictures posted. Anyway besides the rain we really enjoyed oourselves at the water park. JC even went down the kiddie waterslide. This was more scary for Gene and I than for him. Can't wait for next summer when he will be able to do more at the park. My personal favorite was the double tube down the lazy river where we just relaxed as a family.

Few More

More Wee Jump

Wee Jump!!

Wow we had a ton of fun today. Took JC to a place called Wee Jump that has a ton of moon bounces. At his age you can play all day for $5.00 + tax. There was no charge for Gene and I so we joined in on the fun too. JC made a few friends and I was happy to see for a boy that isn't in day care he did quite well playing with others. He even returned the purple call to the little girl after I told him it wasn't nice. I however managed to get 2 kids put into time out. One cause he wasn't listening to his mom and then almost landed on JC so he had to come abck and apologize and the other kid threw a ball right at me even after he was told by his mom not to throw the balls. I got an apology from that 2 year old as well. Of course after we got home I was so worn out I took a nap...so did JC but I think that was only so we could rest.

Shower Time with Daddy

JC had his first shower this week. We had a huge storm rolling in and it was the quickest way to get both boys in and out before the thunder and lighting. Once JC got used to it he loved trying to drink the water.

About Us

My photo
"Yankee Born...Southern Living" Christine: Born and raised in Naugatuck, CT. I moved to SC to be closer to my dad when he retired. I am a graduate of Southern Connecticut with a degree in Liberal Studies. I currently work for Merrill Lynch and Old Navy but being a mom is the best job I have ever had. Gene: Claims to have grown up in NY but he spent most of his life in CT. He graduated from Taconic Hills and then headed to Porter and Chester for a trade in automotive- that he has never used. Gene currently works at Osprey Marina and loves spending his days outside with boats. He is also training to be a volunteer fireman. JC: Is the perfect toddler...or atleast he is in my eyes. He is still on a schedule that you can tell time by. He love country music, dancing to whatever beat he can find, helping with chores, and reading.
