Riverbank Zoo

JC LOVED seeing the zoo keeper feed the penguins. We stood here forever just watching

Talk about getting up close. JC and Gene got to feel the giraffe

JC and Gene's hands feeding the giraffe

The SC ALS Association had a day at the zoo for those who have lost someone to ALS or someone who is currently dealing with the disease at home. It was a nice day for kids to just be kids and for us to be kids too.

Back to Magic Kingdom

He had such a hard week.

JC loved steering and... um... crashing

We got to dance in the parade.

Fist bumping with Princess Belle. JC met all the princess and even got kissed by a few.

I think we might have worn him out but over all we had a great trip and look forward to doing it again a few years from now.

Hollywood Studios

Watching Beauty and the Beast. JC loved this show.

How flipping CUTE is this picture!

JC loved all the Pixar stuff at Hollywood Studios. Gene and I enjoyed the behind the scene stuff. Another great parade here in the afternoon thankfully JC woke just in time to see it.

Gilado in Italy

Rain maker in Africa

Illuminations

After strollingt hrough the countries in Epcot and visiting with some characters we spent 1/2 the day by the pool and then came back for the amazing Illuminations Show at night- lazers, fire and fireworks...it was awesome.

Animal Kingdom

Think JC got a little worn out

We LOVED Animal Kingdom. The safari ride was the best. We were so close to all the animals. The parade was awesome too. We started our morning having breakfast with the characters and ended our day with dinner at the Rain Forrest Cafe...it was an all out animal day!

Magic Kingdom

Yup we were the family that was dressed alike

Meeting Pluto

JC was so excited he ran right to Minnie

But he didn't forget about Mickey

JC loved meeting Mickey and Minnie. He rode his first ride ever, Goofy's Barnyard Rollercoaster. We managed to make it through half on the park on our first day before we all headed back to the hotel for naps.

Disney or Bust

Yes I did and it was awesome to have people honk and cheer when we got to Disney!

Rest stop picnic.

Taking a moment to color while we ate dinner

Swimming at the hotel pool. JC swam 2 feet underwater all by himself.

About Us

My photo
"Yankee Born...Southern Living" Christine: Born and raised in Naugatuck, CT. I moved to SC to be closer to my dad when he retired. I am a graduate of Southern Connecticut with a degree in Liberal Studies. I currently work for Merrill Lynch and Old Navy but being a mom is the best job I have ever had. Gene: Claims to have grown up in NY but he spent most of his life in CT. He graduated from Taconic Hills and then headed to Porter and Chester for a trade in automotive- that he has never used. Gene currently works at Osprey Marina and loves spending his days outside with boats. He is also training to be a volunteer fireman. JC: Is the perfect toddler...or atleast he is in my eyes. He is still on a schedule that you can tell time by. He love country music, dancing to whatever beat he can find, helping with chores, and reading.
