Getting into everything

As you can see we had a busy day with our little boy. He is getting into everything and keeping us very busy. But we love every minute of it.

Yummy Blueberries

After breakfast at Atlanta Bread, JC had a blueberry muffin top, we decided to see how he would like some frozen blueberries to chew on. Needless so say they were a messy success.

Stairs Oh My...

JC looks so cute trying to climb the stairs even though he knows he is doing something wrong. We have trouble on our hands.

JC's New House

JC got this great new toy that tells him when the door is open and closed, signs when the window opens, has a door bells that rings, a radio and so much more.

Growing up so fast

So we mastered crawling about 3 weeks ago so that only means one thing...Minnie run for your life. Seriously though my child should be walking by about a month at the rate he is going. Already he is trying to pull himself up on a few things, especially the stairs and us. He is kneeling which is so cute and likes to eat my shoes, Gene's belt and Grandpa's keys.

Physical Therapy

JC had his monthly appointment last week for physically therapy. All is going well. Still a little tight on the right side of his neck but we are working on it at home. Here is a picture of JC with his therapist Miss Joyce.

Minnie

I just thought this was a great picture of Miss Minnie. She heads to the doctor tomorrow to get her skin looked at yet again. I swear she is having a reaction to JC being here but the doctors say it is an allergy. Not so sure since she has started to scratch herself bald since he started crawling. I'll keep you posted.

Laundry Basket

All I can say is he was playing with it and I couldn't resist.

Powdered Donut

JC got a little Valentine's gift...his first munchkin.

Don't go...

JC's new favorite thing to do is look out the windows by the front door or out our screen door. This morning he watched Gene leave for work and then turned and pouted at me. It was so cute and sad at the same time.
Note how well JC's head is rounding out. Looking good!

A Perfect Weekend With My Baby

Gene worked this weekend so I had the opportunity to spend time with JC. Saturday we stopped by the marina for lunch with Daddy. Then we headed to Broadway for the Kidz Fest. JC saw goats, puppies, and little ponies. He thought the animals were great. Particularly when the goat tried to eat his feet through the fence. He even got to see some clowns. We didn't get to close - Lord knows I wanted a nice day not a screaming scared baby.

Today we again stopped by the marina and laughed at Grandpa washing his boat. JC was sure to tell him where he missed a spot. Then we headed to Market Commons and enjoyed some lunch in the park and a 4 mile walk. JC loves the attention he gets from the ladies on all the shops. After a nap in the sun it was time to go home.

It was a great Mommy & Baby weekend.

My friend Amy is doing this "Flashback Friday" thing on her blog and I thought it was such a cute idea. So on her behalf I am flashing back to some pictures she is in too.
Wacth out I may even dig out some of my old birthday party pictures in the future. Keep a look out for me to flashback into my childhood as I watch JC go through his.

Head Scan

JC went for his follow up head scan today. We have had growth and his head is rounding out. YEAH!!!!! Dr. Jarred said that as long as JC keeps growing he should be in the helmet a month more fulltime and then he'll only have to wear it part time for sleeping and when he is in his car seat. Hopefully we have another growth spurt this month.
Here is JC with Dr. Jarred.

Snow in South Carolina

JC got to experience his first snow today. This is the second snow fall in a month. This one lasted long enough for JC to get up from his nap and accumulate.
Um are we back in New England!

About Us

My photo
"Yankee Born...Southern Living" Christine: Born and raised in Naugatuck, CT. I moved to SC to be closer to my dad when he retired. I am a graduate of Southern Connecticut with a degree in Liberal Studies. I currently work for Merrill Lynch and Old Navy but being a mom is the best job I have ever had. Gene: Claims to have grown up in NY but he spent most of his life in CT. He graduated from Taconic Hills and then headed to Porter and Chester for a trade in automotive- that he has never used. Gene currently works at Osprey Marina and loves spending his days outside with boats. He is also training to be a volunteer fireman. JC: Is the perfect toddler...or atleast he is in my eyes. He is still on a schedule that you can tell time by. He love country music, dancing to whatever beat he can find, helping with chores, and reading.
